About This Event

Developers: caffeinate and get ready to dominate! Bring your laptops, phones, gadgets and dev tools to SocialDevCamp Chicago for the second annual 36-hour challenge. Develop your own social app, present it and compete for your share of $7,000 in prizes. Winners will walk away with mad props and cool loot. FRIDAY NIGHT HACKATHON KICKOFF PARTY -- 7PM -9PM at TechNexus at the Illinois Technical Association. 200 S. Wacker, 15th Floor, Chicago.

Sudha Jamthe, @sujamthe
Sudha Jamthe is the social media strategist for the PayPalX Platform. She is currently focused on bottom-up innovation, bringing grassroots energy to the enterprise and building developer programs. Side projects include leading the Bay Area Facebook Meetup and serving as an MIT venture mentor.

Brian Pautsch, @bpautsch
Brian is Co-Founder and President of KeyLimeTie and has more than 15 years of software architecture and development experience spanning a number of vertical markets including insurance, education, healthcare and retail.

Matt Manzella
Matt Manzella is Director of Strategy & Innovation Services (SIS) at Allstate Insurance Company. As the leader of SIS, Matt is responsible for developing a culture of innovation at Allstate while also researching and testing potentially disruptive technologies, processes, services and products.

Geoff Domoracki, @gdomoracki
Geoff Domoracki is founder and CEO of midVentures and co-founder of the midVenturesLAUNCH conference. Since graduating from the University of Chicago, Geoff has provided venture strategy consulting for investors like Lightbank and startups such as CommonGrants and RemixGalaxy. Geoff’s interests are Business Intelligence 2.0 and the structured web.

Harper Reed, @harper Harper Reed is an engineer excited about real time, social software and the open source software movement. He is currently spending some time building interesting things and hacking for Rackspace. In a previous life, he was the CTO of the awesome Threadless.

Mike Trotzke, @trotzke Mike Trotzke is Co-founder and Managing Partner of SproutBox – an early-stage investment and product development firm located in Bloomington, IN. Prior to Sproutbox, Mike helped start Resite Information Technology and served as CTO for Worldview Multimedia. He enjoys cheese, orange tic-tacs and caffeine.
